Rollin', rollin' rollin'...

So far we've been driving, driving, driving...

First day to Lake Tahoe CA (for 2 days), then Salt Lake City UT (not even stopping in NV), on to Douglas WY, then Mount Rushmore SD, on to De Smet SD, then St Paul MN and finally here at Wisconsin Dells WI.

And, so far, the kids have actually been pretty good while in the car.

We've all

been listening to Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little Town on the Prairie"

and "The Happy Golden Years".

Robby's been building LEGOs

in the car, while

Hannah has been drawing

and reading.

Surprisingly enough, we're all feeling and doing pretty good. There are still outbursts on all sides but nothing that isn't totally unexpected or unacceptable.

Oh... and the MacBook Pro died. So updates will take a little longer than normal.

  1. Wow it sounds like you are having fun! (This is S1)
Hannah, I hope you have fun at the Creation Museum today. We went four years ago and it was a lot of fun! Have a nice day. Love, S1.

  2. Oh No.. poor Mac. Is there an apple store enroute to next stop? Aren't the grounds at Creation Museum beautiful?? Simile was a baby when we stopped there... I enjoyed feeding her by the ponds. Will you stop to see the Cincinnati Gentles?

  3. Bob, are you going to schedule a Genius appointment somewhere along the trip to troubleshoot the MBP?

  5. Actually, no. No Mac Genius appointment for me. My nephew (Garrett) suggested that Adobe Flash might be the issue (having the same symptoms on his MBP previously). After completely uninstalling Adobe Flash, we've had zero problems with our MBP. Let the blog posts continue! :)
